Description
A piezo buzzer is used to generate tones, beeps, and alerts. This small buzzer is breadboard compatible and can generate a tone between 2KHz and 10KHz with a 3-30V peak to peak square wave. The loudest tones are generated around 4KHz.
To use this buzzer, connect one pine to ground and the other to a microcontroller programmed to output a square wave or a timer IC. To get even more volume from this buzzer you can connect both pins to a microcontroller and ādifferential driveā the piezo by swapping which pin is high and low.
