In the meantime, we have seven new products to share and a new Product of the Week at 30% Off.

New Products This Week

AM2320 Temperature/Humidity Sensor – I2C

The AM2320 is a basic temperature and humidity sensor for I2C compatible microcontrollers and single board computers. These are similar in size / construction as the DHT11 and DHT22, however these do not require a bit-bang timing specific protocol and work with regular I2C. The AM2320 can monitor temperatures between -40°C and 80°C and Humidity between 0 and 99.9% To use this sensor: just connect the sensor up to a microcontroller or single board computer with I2C and the sensor will be readable at address 0x5c. The sensor pinout is 1:VDD 2:SDA 3:GND 4:SCL with pullup resistors (generally between 3K and 10K Ohm) required on SDA and SCL... [Read More]

Sharp IR Distance Sensor (4-30 cm)

Measuring distance with a microcontroller is one of those tasks that can be accomplished a number of ways. These IR Distance Sensors are probably one of the easiest ways to get it done! This Sharp distance sensor uses infrared light to detect distances between 4 and 30cm away. The output is an analog signal ranging from approximately 2.7VDC at 4cm to 0.4VDC at 30cm. Simply connect this sensor's output to a 5V compatible analog input on your microcontroller... [Read More]

Rosin Flux Paste – 50g

This RA Rosin Flux Paste is a superior electronics grade flux paste designed to make soldering conventional and surface mount components faster and easier. This paste works well with lead-free and leaded solders, stays on the area it was applied, and a small amount goes a long ways! This flux does not contain any Zinc Chloride or Ammonium Chloride. Due to its organic acid base, this flux is easy to remove post soldering with Isopropyl Alcohol or Flux Remover. ... [Read More]

3-6VDC TT Right Angle Gearmotor

Using a basic DC motor to drive a wheel on a robot can be a bit tricky. Small DC motors tend to have a very high shaft speed, very low torque, and no easy way to connect to a wheel. These all in one TT Right Angle Gearbox Motors take care of everything! The DC motor is coupled to a 1:48 reduction gearbox in an easy to mount assembly. This variation has the output shaft parallel to the motor, allowing this to be used in situations where a Standard TT Gearmotor wont fit... [Read More]

GPS Antenna with SMA Connector

Give your GPS a boost with this external GPS antenna! This antenna draws ~20mA and provides an additional 27dB of gain. The RG174 cable measures 3 meters long and the antenna housing itself is magnetic – making it easy to stick to the top of a vehicle or anything metal. The cable features a standard SMA cable on the end and can be used with our uFL to SMA adapter to connect it to a PCB mounted uFL connection (commonly found on GPS breakout boards) . ... TO-92 Transistor Kit – 300 Pieces

Having a bunch of common transistors around is always great when prototyping or experimenting. This 300 pack has 15 different transistors in quantities of 20 each. These include many of the commonly used NPN and PNP transistors. Every transistor is in the TO-92 package and can be used in solderless breadboards, perfboards, etc... [Read More]

1.8″ TFT LCD (128×160) ST7735 Breakout

This 1.8" SPI driven TFT LCD is an inexpensive way to add a colorful display to any project! The screen uses The display uses 5 wire SPI to communicate and has its own pixel-addressable frame buffer making it compatible with just about every kind of microcontroller and single board computer - even the Raspberry Pi! The 1.8" display has 128x160 color pixels. The ST7735 TFT driver can display full 18-bit color (262,144 shades!). The breakout ships pre-assembled and requires no soldering to use. There is a SD card holder on the back - however we haven't had much luck with it... [Read More]
