New Product Roundup – 4th to November 10th

Welcome back to another edition of our Saturday New Product Roundup – a weekly update on our newest products and whatever else is new at BC Robotics!

New Products
This week we went a little emulator crazy with two awesome cases for the Raspberry Pi. These cases are ideally suited towards building your own game emulator and are based off of two iconic gaming consoles. Both cases work with the Pi 2, 3, and 3+ and feature functional soft power and restart buttons, microSD storage, and more. Aside from emulators, we have also added a new type of passive buzzer, a larger 36 compartment parts storage box, and a really nice silicone hot air rework and soldering mat that should help prevent damage to your desk or workbench.

New Tutorial!

Using an Ultrasonic Distance Sensor With Arduino
In this tutorial we will be looking at how to use an Ultrasonic Sensor to measure distance using an Arduino. These sensors are generally inexpensive, fairly accurate, and not affected by lighting conditions like infrared based systems. We will be looking at three Ultrasonic sensors, these are all code compatible but require subtle changes in the wiring due to differing pinouts. Interested? Head on over to the tutorial!
