New Product Roundup – October 15th to October 21st
Well it is certainly a stormy and rainy Saturday here on the coast – perfect weather for project building. What better than a bunch of new products to give some inspiration! This week we have the incredibly popular Pi Desktop – perfect for making your Raspberry Pi into a desktop computer. We also have a new sound detection board from SparkFun and a very handy (and easy to use!) Mini Volt Gauge that illuminates red. Let’s go have a look!
Mini Volt Gauge – RedThis mini volt gauge is an all in one display and voltage meter. Simply apply power to the red wire and connect the ground to your common / ground and this gauge will display the voltage. Since this gauge runs on the same power source as it is monitoring it cannot measure below 2.5VDC.

Pi DesktopThe Pi Desktop is a Raspberry Pi case designed to turn your Pi 2 or Pi 3 into a desktop computer. The case is more than just a fancy box to store your Pi in. It offers three different outputs – the audio signal, a digital output (HIGH when audio is detected), and an analog output representing amplitude. Each one is independent – so you can pick and choose which ones you want to use!
