The Xytronic LF-2900 is a powerhouse of a soldering station – at 100W it is the most powerful iron we sell. Recovery times are almost non-existent. The iron operates from temperature ranges of 100 – 500°C ( 212 – 932°F) and is ESD safe. A long heat-resistant silicon cable connects the wand to the base station. The iron is easy to maneuver and does not suffer from the same mobility problems of the lower cost handheld soldering irons. The iron uses B01 series soldering tips.

The 6 x 5 cm screen displays current temperature and set temperature with touch controls to adjust and set temperature. Additionally, there are three memory channels where temperatures can be set and quickly accessed by pressing the white button on the front. The high power output is more than adequate to meet the present and future needs of lead-free soldering in the electronics production industry and is more than up to task for hobbyists and electronics enthusiasts.
