Description

WS2812 RGB LEDs are a lot of fun and are great for making colorful light displays, indicators, and more. These individual LED Pixels are made up of an intelligent 5 x 5mm WS2812 LED. Each LED has its own integrated driver and is individually controllable. This pack includes 5 individual LEDs boards that can be chained together to create larger displays and lighting effects using a single Digital IO pin!

These LEDs are powered with 5VDC and have integrated drivers so no resistors are required. These do require a real time microcontroller such as an AVR, Arduino, PIC, mbed, ect. They will not work with Linux based micro-computers, Netduinos, or the Basic Stamp.

To use these LEDs: Connect your digital pin to the “Din” pad (data in) on the back of the module and supply power. The FastLED library for Arduino is a great starting point!
