The LRS-50-5 is a small, but powerful 50W power supply by Mean Well. This version accepts 100-240VAC and outputs 5V @ 10A. The supply features a durable metal casing, short circuit protection, overload protection, and overvoltage protection.

The power supply can be easily mounted and features several mounting points. The input and output lines are connected using large screw terminals; to connect this power supply you will need an AC power cable – AC Power Plug to stripped wires

Unlike the larger Mean Well power supplies, these do not have a selector switch for their input voltage. Just connect it up to a 100-240VAC source and out comes 5VDC. The output voltage is adjustable using a trim potentiometer next to it’s inputs/outputs. The output voltage can be adjusted between 4.4 and 5.5VDC. The power supply can operate in air temperatures between -30°C to +70°C and only requires passive cooling. If you need a lot of reliable power, these are a great choice!

Please Note: This power supply uses mains voltage that is exposed on open connectors. It should only be used with those experienced in handling high voltage.
