New Product Roundup – March 23th

It is Saturday, and time for another weekly New Product Roundup. Today, we have four new components to share along with another new Product of The Week so let’s jump in and have a look!

New Products
This week we have added 4 new products to the catalogue. First up is a tiny limit switch, perfect for detecting if a door or access panel is open or perhaps an end stop on a small machine. Next, we have a 2.1 x 5.5mm DC Barrel with an extra long barrel length. These are great when the plug is recessed behind a panel and a standard plug isn’t quite long enough to reliably make the connection. In the LED category, we have a larger LED matrix measuring 60x60mm with 64 Red LEDs. Finally, we have low profile Swiss Female Socket Headers – these allow for much lower between board heights when stacking boards.

New Product Roundup – March 16th

Happy Saturday -Time for another weekly New Product Roundup! This week it is starting to feel a lot like spring out here on the coast – the perfect time to start thinking about outdoor projects. One of the most popular requests we get is for an irrigation controller project tutorial. Well, this week we released our Raspberry Pi Irrigation Board – the centerpiece of an upcoming project based tutorial – along with a couple other parts.

Happy Pi Day!

Happy Pi Day! Well – no new Raspberry Pi 4 from the Pi Foundation this year, but we kind of expected that based on interviews over the past month. However, we do have a Raspberry Pi announcement of our own! Just in time for Pi Day (and Spring) we have a brand new Raspberry Pi Add-on Board! The Raspberry Pi Irrigation Board is designed to handle just about anything you could need in a basic garden irrigation system. The board is designed to work with the Raspberry Pi A+, B+, 2, 3, 3A+, and 3B+ and features drivers for 6 inductive loads (solenoids, pumps, relays, ect), a 4 channel 12-bit Analog to Digital Converter, and handy connectors temperature and flow sensors.

New Product Roundup – March 9th

It’s Saturday and that means we are back with another New Product Roundup! This week we have four new items in the catalogue, a product and build tutorial announcement, and a new Product Of The Week to share. Lets go have a look!

New Products
New to the catalogue this week, we have another fairly strong, economical, NEMA 17 Stepper Motor with a 5mm output shaft. Continuing with the CNC theme, there is also another new GT2 pulley. We have a lot of different sizes of pulley with a 5mm bore, but nothing in 8mm… until now! The 20 tooth pulley will fit any 8mm shaft. A new coreless DC motor was also added this week – the 716 sized motor hits speeds of 40000RPM with 3.7V. And finally, adding to the gauges, we have a green version of our three wire mini voltage gauge.

New Product Roundup – March 2nd

Happy Saturday – we are back with another weekly New Product Roundup! This week we have a bunch of small, useful, items newly added to the catalogue and an incredibly useful Product Of the Week. Let’s get to it:

New Products
Starting off, we have another small rocker switch. This one features a red face and is much more attention grabbing than black. Sticking with switches, we also have a new Lever Limit Switch. This limit switch differs as it has a small roller on the end of the trigger arm. Next up, we added a 9x9mm Heatsink with a nice anodized blue finish, and a two pack of heatsinks ideal for the Raspberry Pi 3B+. Finally, we now have a brass version of the M3 Hardware Kit .
