New Tutorial: Raspberry Pi Weather Station (Part 1)

We have a new tutorial up for the Raspberry Pi! This tutorial is the first of a four part series detailing how to build a data logging weather station. The weather station will have a simple online dashboard to view the data and can be customized and expanded upon going forwards.

The weekend is here, and with that, another of our New Product Roundup Posts! This week we have a new add-on for the Raspberry Pi, designed and manufactured here at BC Robotics. Our new Raspberry Pi Weather Board simplifies the electronics side of building a Raspberry Pi based Weather Station.

Welcome back to another edition of our New Product Roundup – the weekly update we provide summarizing what is new in the shop at BC Robotics. This week we have a few new additions, including a battery powered temperature gauge to keep tabs on that hot summer weather, a new two-wheel drive chassis perfect for building a driving robot, a set of fan gears, and a TO220 heatsink.

We have the new SparkFun gator:bit, an alligator clip friendly expansion board for the BBC micro:bit; a new Adafruit Data Logging Featherwing for Adafruit’s line of Feather microcontrollers, and a new 20 pulse per revolution rotary encoder.
