SparkFun Pi Servo HAT

The SparkFun Pi Servo HAT allows your Raspberry Pi to control up to 16 servo motors in a straightforward and uncomplicated manner via an I2C connection. Thanks to its I2C capabilities, this PWM HAT saves the Raspberry Pi’s GPIO, allowing you to use them for other purposes. Additionally, the Pi Servo HAT adds a serial terminal connection, which will allow you to bring up a Raspberry Pi without having to hook it up to a monitor and keyboard. There is also a Qwiic connector for easy interfacing with the I2C bus using the Qwiic system. Power to the SparkFun Pi Servo HAT is supplied by a microUSB connector that can be used to power the servo motors only, or to power the servo motors as well as the Pi that is connected to the HAT... TT Motor All-Metal Gearbox – 1:90 Gear Ratio

Using a basic DC motor to drive a wheel on a robot can be a bit tricky. Small DC motors tend to have a very high shaft speed, very low torque, and no easy way to connect to a wheel. These all in one “TT” Gearbox Motors give you a strong, slow, output! The DC motor is coupled to an all-metal 1:90 reduction gearbox in an easy to mount assembly. On each side of the gearbox there is a 5.5mm flatted output shaft – these can be used to connect wheels and rotary encoders... [Read More]

Standard Servo – MG946R

The MG946R is a strong, dual bearing, servo motor featuring all metal gears. This servo can deliver up to 180oz-in of torque at 6V and achieves a rotational speed of 0.17 seconds per 60°. When the voltage is dropped to 4.8V, it still maintains 145oz-in of torque and 0.2 seconds per 60°. The MG946R works with standard RC servo pulses, providing a running angle of approximately 180° over a servo pulse range of 600 µs to 2400 µs. The 25T spline is compatible with our Metal RC Servo Horn if the included parts don’t quite do it for you! Please Note: This product has been updated to the MG946R from th MG945 as of June 2020. ... Small Push Pull Solenoid – 24V

Solenoids are basically electromagnets: they are made of a coil of copper wire with an armature (a slug of metal) in the middle. When the coil is energized, the slug is pulled into the center of the coil. This makes the solenoid able to pull (from one end) or push (from the other) This solenoid in particular is fairly small, with a 30mm long body and a ‘captive’ armature with a return spring. This solenoid is rate for 24V but can be activated with as low as 18V... [Read More]

N20 Micro Gear Motor – 12V 30RPM

This N20 gearmotor is a miniature DC motor with integrated gearbox. The gearbox allows a much lower output shaft speed and greater torque from this tiny motor. We carry several versions of this motor with different output shaft speeds and input voltages. This specific model is 12V and approximately 30 RPM. The output is a 3mm diameter flatted shaft and is compatible with our 43mm Wheel as well as any 3mm shaft couplers and adapter hubs... [Read More]
