New Product Roundup – November 2nd

We are back with another New Product Roundup for the week ending November 2nd. In this week’s update we have six new products to share including a few new sensors and a large servo motor. We also have a new Product Of The Week at 50% Off – so let’s jump in and check it out!

New Products This Week

AM2301 Temperature/Humidity Sensor

The AM2301 is a great weather sensor package. This uses 1 digital input to the microcontroller and provides temperature accurate to +/- 0.5°C and humidity accurate to +/- 3% relative humidity. The sensor will operate on 3 to 5VDC and its logic level output will be the same as the input voltage. It is not weather resistant so it should be sheltered from direct exposure to the elements... Liquid Flow Meter – YF-S401

This simple flow sensor is very similar to its big brother, the YF-S201, but has been optimized for lower flow rates and features a higher pulse per liter count. Inside the housing, a small pinwheel with an attached magnet is spun by passing water; as the magnet makes each revolution, a hall effect sensor inside the housing outputs a pulse on the yellow wire. This sensor is best suited for flow rates between 0.3 and 6 liters per minute and outputs 5880 pulses per liter (approximately 1 pulse per 0.17mL). The sensor has a barbed 7mm connection point on each side with an inner diameter of 4mm. ... [Read More]

USB A Type Male Connector

This USB Type A Male connector is the one you typically plug into your computer. This connector has all four USB lines and two additional anchor points to help keep it in place. Typically these connectors fit into special footprints on circuit boards, but this one could fit into a perfboard without too much modification. . ... [Read More]

4.5mm Electret Microphone

This incredibly tiny electret microphone measures just 4.5mm across and 2.75mm tall and can be used to monitor sound in the range of human hearing (20 – 20KHz). It uses a small vibrating element to convert sound waves into an electric signal. This signal measures a few millivolts from peak to peak and will require an op-amp to boost the signal to something useable. The microphone has very fine pins on the back – these can be formed to fit into a standard 0.100” / 2.54mm pitch protoboard or perfboard. ... [Read More]

Standard Servo – MG945

The MG945 is a strong, dual bearing, servo motor featuring all metal gears. This servo can deliver up to 166oz-in of torque at 6V and achieves a rotational speed of 0.2 seconds per 60°. When the voltage is dropped to 4.8V, it still maintains 138oz-in of torque and 0.23 seconds per 60°. The MG945 works with standard RC servo pulses, providing a running angle of approximately 180° over a servo pulse range of 600 µs to 2400 µs. The 25T spline is compatible with our Metal RC Servo Horn if the included parts don’t quite do it for you!... [Read More]

Aluminum Shaft Coupler – 2mm to 2mm

These small shaft couplers are ideal for connecting motors to driveshafts. The coupler has two set screws on each side to hold each shaft in place. This specific coupler is designed to fit a 2mm shaft on each side. These couplers work well with our 3-6V Hobby Motor as well as our 2mm Diameter Shaft. ... [Read More]
