New Product Roundup – August 17th

It is Saturday, and that means we are back with another edition of our New Product Roundup. This week we have six new products to share, a new tutorial, and a new product of the week – lets go have a look!

New Products
First up today is our USB3.0 to SATA adapter cable – this cable is perfect for connecting 2.5″ Hard Drives and Solid State Drives to your Raspberry Pi 4! Ideal for server and file storage applications on the Pi. Continuing with the Raspberry Pi theme, we have the official Raspberry Pi Power Supply for the Raspberry Pi 4. This power supply is rated to 5.1V / 3A and a USB C connector – simply plug it in and you are good to go! Want to use your older 5.25V / 2.5A Power supply with the Pi 4? We also have a USB Micro to USB C cable adapter available. To finish off our selection of Pi-related additions this week, we have the Official Raspberry Pi Keyboard in Raspberry Red / White with integrated USB Hub. Unrelated to the Pi, we also added a new 60mm Propeller / Fan for attaching to DC motors. And lastly, we added a two pack of motor brackets for mini gearmotors and small N30 motors.

The official Raspberry Pi USB-C power supply is designed to support the needs of all versions of Raspberry Pi 4. This 3A 5.1V power supply has a 1.5m / ~5’ cable with 18AWG wires and terminated with a USB C connector.

60mm Four Blade Propeller – Green

This Four Blade 60mm generic fan/propeller works great for moving air or water. Use it to build your next miniature hovercraft, boat, or just to make your DC motor less boring! The propeller is designed to fit on a 2mm shaft and will work with most small DC hobby motors we stock.

Micro B USB to USB C Adapter

This micro USB to USB C adapter is perfect for the Raspberry Pi 4 – it allows older 2.5A Power Supplies to be used with the USB C power input on the Pi 4.

Micro Metal Gearmotor / DC Motor Bracket

This compact bracket enables convenient mounting of popular, N30 and Sanyo 10x12mm motors. The white plastic bracket fits around the motor, and the mounting tabs capture the nuts for easy installation. The brackets are sold in pairs, and each bracket comes with two #2 screws and two nuts.
