Welcome back to a holiday weekend edition of our New Product Roundup! Just three new products to share this week, but before we jump into that, first a quick reminder: We are closed on Monday for the BC Day holiday. The showroom is open today until 4PM – so feel free to drop by and grab last minute long weekend project supplies!

New Products
Starting off this week, we added another type of small workstation mat. This is a bit different as it has a static safe work environment on one side and a heat resistant surface on the other side – ideal for repairs and rework! Next up, we have another type of heat shrink kit – this 127 piece kit ranges from 1/16” to 1/2″ and has a nice plastic carrying case. Finally, we have a Blue version of the 6V variation of 16mm panel mount On/Off pushbuttons.

Silicone + Anti-Static Work Mat – 18x23cm

This dual purpose work mat is designed for small projects and small places. The green side is a static safe work area while the black side is a heat resistant silicon surface suitable for hot air rework and soldering.

127 Piece Black Heat Shrink Kit

Heat shrink tubing is a favourite for protecting solder joints, protecting small electronic components, and keeping wires organized. This kit contains 127 pieces of black heat shrink tubing and comes in a handy segmented carrying case. Perfect for throwing in a portable toolkit!

16mm Panel Mount On/Off – 6V Blue LED

These chrome-plated metal power buttons are rugged and look great! Simply drill a 16mm hole into any material up to 13mm / ~1/2″ thick and you can fit these in place. The button is IP65 rated and there's even a rubber gasket to keep water out of the enclosure. This button is a single pole / dual throw (SPDT) on/off switch with an independent LED circuit complete with resistor – just apply 5-6V and it will light up.
