New Product Roundup – June 29th

The Canada Day long weekend is here! We have a quick update with a few new products before we all kick off for a week of holidays. So, just a reminder, the showroom is closed from today (Saturday) at 2PM until Monday July 8th. However, All online orders will continue to process and ship.

With that out of the way, on to what is new! This week was dominated by the release of the Raspberry Pi 4 – the latest iteration of the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s flagship board. We are taking orders for the 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB version of the board with the next shipping dates currently floating around the second week of July. Aside from the Pi, we also have a new Alligator Clip to 3.5mm audio plug cable for the BBC micro:bit / Adafruit Circuit Playground Express. This allows a speaker or headphones to be plugged in with ease!

3.5mm Mono Audio Jack to Alligator Clip-Cable

This cable is a simple 3.5mm mono audio jack on one end, and two alligator clips on the other. Its easy to use with the BBC micro:bit or Adafruit Circuit Playground – just use the two alligator clips to connect to your board and away you go! Plug in your headphones, speakers or even AT (accessible technology) buttons as they use the same 3.5mm mono audio cables for interconnection.
