Happy Pi Day! And happy new Raspberry Pi Day as well! That’s right – there is a new Raspberry Pi on the market! The Raspberry Pi 3+ is a slightly improved version of the original Raspberry Pi 3. The 3+ sees a modest increase in CPU speed (1.4GHz) , Dual Band 802.11ac WiFi, and improved Ethernet speed. Along with all that, they have added POE capabilities (with the addition of a separate POE HAT) and the dual band wireless has modular compliance certification – making this much easier to include in final products without further testing of the wireless.
