New Product Roundup – January 7th to January 13th

Welcome back to another edition of our Saturday New Product Roundup! We are always adding new products to the catalogue but are we missing something you think we should carry? Send us a message, email, or write a comment – we would love to hear from you. Ok, back to business: This week we have several great products including the new SparkFun Inventors Kit 4.0! Let’s have a closer look!

Alligator Clip to Male Jumper Wire – 6 Pack

Working with an unusual connector? Something that isn’t breadboard compatible on a breadboard? These handy little jumper leads will be a favorite for sure! Simply clamp to whatever you want and plug it into the breadboard. Each kit contains 6 alligator clip to breadboard male pin cables measuring 6″, one of each colour. These make a great accessory for the BBC micro:bit, wearables, general breadboarding, and more!

SparkFun Inventor’s Kit – v4.0

The SparkFun Inventors Kit has been by far the most popular Arduino kit we have carried in the past few years. It is a great way to get started with programming and hardware interaction with the Arduino programming language. Version 4.0 has been modified to take into account all of the feedback from previous versions and provide a different teaching approach to embedded electronics.

Standard Gripper Kit B – Straight Mount

This is the Actobotics Standard Gripper Kit B, a simple and durable robotics kit that is great for “getting a grip” on pretty much any robotics project! Designed for use with any standard size Hitec or Futaba servo, the gripper kit is easy to assemble and requires only a Phillips Head Screwdriver. This version of the Standard Gripper is capable of opening an impressive 6″ wide and has an overall body dimension of 5″ long by 1.3″ wide.

6A 125V SPDT Toggle Switch

This panel mount single pole dual throw (SPDT) toggle switch is rated at up to 6A/125VAC. The switch is a standard On-On configuration and includes all hardware. Like most toggle switches, the connections to the switch are solder tabs. Other forms of attachment like alligator clips can also be used for temporary connections.
