Raspberry Pi Complete Beginner Workshop

Missed our first Raspberry Pi Beginner Workshop? Don’t worry we got another one coming up on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018. This workshop is for the complete beginner; if you have a Pi in a box and no idea how to get started then this is for you! We will cover everything from opening the box to getting a basic working Pi running so you can use Scratch, Python, Sonic Pi, the web browser and other built in software. You will learn about the best places to find more info and how to load and update programs. If you don’t know where to start – start here!

The workshop is hosted by our favorite Raspberry Pi expert – Tim Rowledge – at BC Robotics. The workshop will start at 5:30PM (goes for about 2-3 hours long) and costs $20.00 plus applicable taxes. Seating for this workshop is limited – contact us today to reserve your spot! A 48-hour notice is required for cancellation.

To build a working Pi system you’ll need:

  • A working Raspberry Pi
  • A power supply
  • A microSD card
  • A USB keyboard and mouse

If you have your own parts, bring them in; if not, BC Robotics stocks everything you’ll need!
