New Product Roundup – July 2nd to July 8th
We are back with a brief New Product Roundup for this short, post holiday, week. Being a short week, we have just a couple new products: a more powerful 9V Solar Panel and a brand new VESA mountable Raspberry Pi Case. Let’s go have a closer look!
9V 1.5W Solar PanelNeed something a little more powerful than our 6V Solar Panel? This 9V 1.5W solar panel is an ideal solution. These panels generate roughly 160mA @ 9V and measure just 110 x 125 mm. The outer surface is a hard plastic coating while the backing is a hard pcb material. Excellent for powering small “off-grid” projects!

Pi Mount-inThis beautiful Raspberry Pi case is built right next door to us at Industrial Plastics in Nanaimo. These guys love the Raspberry Pi just about as much as we do and have taken it upon themselves to create an awesome case compatible with the Raspberry Pi B+, 2, and Pi 3. The case features access to USB, Power, HDMI, Stereo Audio, microSD, and Ethernet ports as well as plenty of ventilation. The case also has 100 x 100mm VESA compatible mounting holes – meaning it can be easily mounted to the back of most monitors and smaller televisions. |
