This 5mm to 8mm shaft coupler has a helical cut that allows for a secure and stable connection even if the shafts are not perfectly aligned. The helical cut also reduces binding and allows for some flexibility in the X, Y, and Z axis, but not in the rotational axis.

Description
Need to connect two shafts together? This flex coupler has a helical cut that allows two shafts that are not perfectly aligned to be joined together while reducing binding. These are a little springy in the X, Y, and Z axis but not in the rotational axis meaning they will not cause additional backlash.
These couplers work great with any of our NEMA17 stepper motors
