Canada Post – Possible Disruption (Once Again)

As of today, the union representing Canada Post Employees has issued 72 Hour strike notice. At this time we do not know if this means they will strike, but on Sunday they will be in a legal position to do so. We are advising any customers wishing not to be affected by any possible strike action to choose a UPS shipping option when checking out. We will continue to update this as things progress.

We Are Moving!

Big news from us today – we are excited to announce we are moving! BC Robotics Inc. will be relocating into a new, larger, space in the Boxwood area of Nanaimo. The move will happen September 30th, 2016 – we will no longer be at Unit G-1, 2231 McGarrigle Road. Instead, we will say ‘hello’ to our new home on Boxwood Road, right next to Industrial Plastics (Convenient? We know!)

Update: Monday July 11th

Canada Post – Update

Over the weekend not much has changed in the Canada Post situation – negotiations are continuing. There has not been any 72 hour strike or lockout notice so at this time Canada Post is still shipping parcels. Customers in Southwest British Columbia should receive packages shipped via Canada Post but we are continuing to advise the remainder of our customers to select a UPS shipping option at this time to be absolutely certain their packages arrive.

As always, please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions!
