It is Saturday! Time for another New Product Roundup! Being a long weekend, we just have a couple radio components: A USB Software Defined Radio (SDR) and a new adapter cable for SMA to MCX cables. Let’s have a closer look at these two new products:








Software Defined Radio Receiver – RTL2832 with R820T

Have you ever wondered what radio signals are wandering through the air around you? This software defined radio (SDR) is equipped with an RTL2832U and R820T tuner and is capable of listening in on signals between 24MHz and 1850MHz. The SDR plugs in via USB and is compatible with Windows, Mac, or Linux. We have tested it on a Windows PC with SDRSharp / Zadig and had no problem tuning into a variety of radio sources.

MCX Jack to SMA RF Cable Adapter

This RF adapter bit is great for anyone doing RF work. With there being so many different types of connectors out there sometimes the most difficult part of an RF project can be finding the correct adapter cable! This specific cable is an SMA – MCX adapter and is commonly used with our SDR (Software Defined Radio) kit.
