New Product Roundup – June 4th to June 10th

Welcome to our Saturday New Product Roundup! We are always adding new products to the catalogue but are we missing something you think we should carry? Send us a message, email, or write a comment – we would love to hear from you. We cannot guarantee it will be added, but we do value your feedback as the catalogue continues to grow. Ok, back to business: we have several great products that are new this week – so lets jump in and take a look!

Mini Grabber – 10 Pack

Mini grabbers are one of the most useful ends for test leads, jumper wires, and other cables. This 10 pack of mini grabber ends can be used to create your own custom mini grabber cables. Simply pop the cap off the end of the connector to expose the attachment point. Each sent includes a pair of red, green, black, blue, and yellow grabbers.

SparkFun Air Quality Breakout – CCS811

The CCS811 Air Quality Breakout is a digital gas sensor solution that senses a wide range of Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs), including equivalent carbon dioxide (eCO2) and metal oxide (MOX) levels. The onboard CCS811 supports multiple measurement modes that have been optimized for low-power consumption during an active sensor measurement and idle mode extending battery life in portable applications. SparkFun has broken out each necessary pin on the CCS811 as well as additional pins to add your own NTC Thermistor to determine the temperature of the CCS811’s surroundings, which can be used to help compensate the readings.

623ZZ Bearing

This mini roller bearing is typically used in 3D print builds but may find use in a variety of other projects. The bearing measures 10mm in diameter, 4mm thick, and the center bore is 3mm. The 623AZZ is made of chrome steel and features grease lubricated ball bearings.

BBC micro:bit Protective Case

Keep your BBC micro:bit safe in this laser cut protective case! This easy to assemble kit keeps the micro:bit board in an enclosed acrylic case while still allowing access to both buttons, the USB port, reset button, and battery connector. We think this case works great in any situation where access to the extra GPIO pins is not required.

Lithium Ion Battery Pack – 5Ah (USB)

These portable, rechargeable lithium ion battery packs are simple, compact and make for a great way to power your widgets in the field. Best of all, they’re dead simple to operate: just connect your device to the attached USB micro cable or the USB A port on the end of the battery pack, and that’s it! To recharge the battery pack, just plug it into your computer or phone charger using the included USB micro-B cable. This particular battery pack has a 5,000mAh capacity and will source 1,000mA at 5VDC.
