New Product Roundup – April 30th to May 6th

It is Saturday! Time for another New Product Roundup! This week we have a brand new HAT for the Raspberry Pi Zero – perfect for IoT purposes – and a few new colors of our incredibly popular 1.75mm PLA filament. Let’s have a closer look at these new products:

Raspberry Pi Zero Relay HAT

We now have a new version of our Pi Relay HAT for the Raspberry Pi Zero! With the addition of WiFi and Bluetooth to the Raspberry Pi Zero W, it is now finding itself in many more IOT applications – but in those applications it typically needs to control something much higher current or voltage. This HAT is compatible with the Raspberry Pi Zero / Zero 1.3 / Zero W and uses GPIO pins 4 and 17 (Pins 7 & 11) on the GPIO header to switch a pair of 10A relays. Each relay driver is connected to the GPIO through a solder jumper and can be alternatively connected through the 2 pin 0.100″ header if a custom configuration is required.

1.75mm PLA Filament for 3D Printers – Light Blue 1KG

We are always getting asked for more variety of color in our PLA filament – so by popular demand we have added Light Blue to our collection of PLA filaments. This material is a great starting point if you are just getting into 3D printing and will yield great results on a wide variety of printers.

1.75mm PLA Filament for 3D Printers – Silver 1KG

In addition to Light Blue, we have also added Silver to our collection of 1.75mm PLA filaments. The silver is a little darker in shade than the grey that we carry and has a decent amount of shine to it. Just like all of our other filament, this is made from 100% virgin PLA and is shipped in a vacuum sealed package to ensure quality print material.
