New Product Roundup – April 23th to April 29th

Welcome back to another New Product Roundup! Every Saturday we like to take a look back at the week that was, and go over the newest additions to the shop. This week we have some tiny M2 hardware, a Zero W Starter Kit, and a new capacitor:

Raspberry Pi Zero W Starter Kit

This Raspberry Pi Zero W Starter Kit is based on the brand new Pi Zero W and includes all the little bits and pieces you need to get it up and running. The Raspberry Pi Zero W features integrated Bluetooth and WiFi in addition to all of the features of the Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3

M2 Nut

A good selection of hardware is always nice to have around when prototyping. These tiny M2 nuts are zinc plated and have a diameter of 4mm and a thickness of 1.45mm.

M2 x 8mm Phillips

This M2 x 8mm Phillips screw has a zinc plated finish and is compatible with all M2 hardware we stock. They have a 8mm thread length and can be used to mount circuit boards and other tiny components.

M2 x 12mm Phillips

In addition to the 8mm length M2, we are also stocking an 12mm version. This machine screw has a zinc plated finish and is compatible with all M2 hardware we stock. They have an 12mm thread length and can be used to mount circuit boards and anything else with an M2 thread.

4.7uF 25V Capacitor

Electrolytic capacitors are really handy to have laying around. Typically these are used for surge suppressing / transient voltages / filtering out noise at the ~1KHz or less. This specific capacitor is rated for 4.7µF and 25V with a +/- 20% tolerance. These capacitors are polarized and should not be hooked up backwards. The negative is denoted by a white line down the side of the capacitor with a negative symbol.
