Canada Post – Updating

Since this is a very fluid situation right now, we will continue to update this post with any news that may affect shipping. As always, please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions!

Update: Monday July 11th
For the time being, Canada Post and the Postal Workers Union have agreed to keep the postal system running during their negotiations. We expect all Canada Post orders will be delivered for the time being. If anything changes we will be sure to post an update.

Update: Friday July 8th
There have been no significant signs of progress to date; With todays’ negotiations falling apart, a lockout / strike may be in place as early as Monday July 11th. All customers wishing to avoid shipping delays are advised to continue selecting a UPS shipping method.

72 hour lockout notice has been issued by Canada Post so we could be looking at a complete stoppage of Parcel shipments and deliveries as early as Friday July 8th. We will continue to offer Canada Post as a shipping option but please be advised that this labor dispute could result in packages being delayed. All customers wishing to avoid the risk of this should choose a UPS shipping method.
