Soldering Level 1 Workshop
Makerspace Nanaimo and BC Robotics will be hosting another level 1 soldering workshop.
When: Saturday, November 21st @ 1:00pm
Where: 2221 McGarrigle Road, Makerspace Nanaimo
In this workshop we will be learning how to solder a blinky light. This will include identifying each of the components, locating where they go on the circuit board, and soldering them in place. The circuit uses a capacitor, LED light, resistor, transistors and battery pack. Don’t know what these pieces are? Come stop by and ask!
In addition to soldering things together, the workshop also looks at how to clean your soldering iron tip, soldering safety, and techniques for stripping wires.
All tools, equipment, and kits will be provided; all proceeds go towards further development of Makerspace Nanaimo and workshops just like this one!
The workshop will cost:
Non-Members – $20.00
Members – $15.00
